Liphook Duck Race
- Paige Anderson (20th Jun 2023 - 21:38:35)
It’s now only 5 days until the Liphook Duck Race!
Ducks are being sold by the fort each day after school at Liphook Infants and Juniors, or if your child goes to the school or Madhatters Nursery you can just complete the form handed out and put in the box in reception. They can also be brought on the day.
Don’t forget there will also be lots of other family friendly stalls including BBQ, Cakes, Tombola’s, Glitter Tattoos, Children’s Party Games, as well as Dylan's Ice Cream and the Slush Truck!
We hope to see you all there!

This duck race is not to support the school but instead it’s for a private school trip, is this correct? This should be made very clear so people don’t buy tickets thinking they are supporting the school but instead they are funding some kids to head abroad.
I don’t think that this has been made very clear at all and it’s clearly being positioned as a school funding raising event which seems to be a deliberate attempt to mislead poor unsuspecting locals.

I can’t see any reference on the paper to buy tickets which is circulating about this being a girl guides event, is this a mistake or a mislead so people think it’s the schools annual duck race. Mmmm.
