Cake Delivery by DPD? - Richard Devlin (23rd Jun 2023 - 14:19:11) DPD have just claimed they delivered a cake for a kids party tomorrow to our porch @12:30 today, oddly I was sat in the front garden from 12 till 1 so I know it didn't happen... The party is tomorrow, the cake was expensive so there are going to be alot of very unhappy kids :( I have called DPD etc and they are effectively useless, they have delivered it somewhere in Liphook but not to our address or our neighbors as all checked, there are only 9 houses on our street. IF you have a box sat on your porch anywhere in Liphook from patisserie valerie that you didnt order can you get in touch with me on 07940486063, am happy to prove its ours with the address and delivery number etc...

Re: Cake Delivery by DPD? - AF (24th Jun 2023 - 10:28:48) I hope you find your cake, however perhaps this is an example where ordering online is not the best policy, there are independent local people who bake cakes to order that you could have used and then popped round yourself to pick it up.

Re: Cake Delivery by DPD? - Richard (28th Jun 2023 - 21:58:05) We previously ordered a cake a few years ago from an established local company based in Grayshott, ordered well in advance and paid for, no delivery required as we had a set date the day before the event to pick it up. This local company called us the day before pick up to say they couldn’t provide the arranged cake. So thanks for the “local” advice.. been there done it and got let down.. DPD located our delivery and dropped it off in good time.
