Tabby Cat
- Jenny (4th Jul 2023 - 20:08:33)

Is anyone missing a long haired tabby cat.
It has been hanging around the Avenue Chalcraft close area of Liphook.
Is looking thin and bedraggled .
Condition seems to be deteriorating every time I see it.
Possibly lost it’s way home.

Are you able to catch it and take it to the vet to see if it's chipped?

Take it to a vet?

Surely we can't just go kidnapping cats, sticking them in our cars and driving them off to see a vet just because we don't know whose they are, they are cats they kill birds and eat them if they're hungry, they are single handedly responsible for the decline in the native bird population in the UK (second are office blocks apparently) , we all love animals but I think we have a bit of an unhealthy obsession with cats sometimes, I found a half eaten songbird on my lawn this morning, I can't 100% say it was a cat but there are dozens of them round here and they love stalking the birds, you don't find dogs doing that! I don't mind them killing rats so much, selective animal loving I guess!
