Margaret Wilson Community Spirit Award - Liphook Community Magazine (22nd Aug 2023 - 13:05:07) In the Summer issue of the Liphook Community Magazine we announced our new competition The Margaret Wilson Community Spirit Award. We asked you to nominate an individual or group that you felt in the past year had made a contribution to village life and put others before themselves. Thank you to everyone that took part. With so many worthy entries, you gave our independent judging panel a very difficult task in choosing a winner. However, after much careful consideration, our panel have made their choice. We will be contacting the winner in the next few days. The recipient will receive a shield and certificate at the Magazine's AGM in October. Look out for an article about this presentation in our Winter issue. We plan to run this competition again next year, so if you haven't been successful this time, we encourage you to take part next year. Editor, Liphook Community Magazine Committee
