Royal Oak, Hollywater re-opening - MikeT (13th Nov 2023 - 21:48:25) There has been recent activity at the boarded-up Royal Oak pub in Liphook Road Hollywater. Today it is no longer boarded up and there were even signs of life so I stopped to have a nose. I met Graham who will be the new Landlord of the pub when it re-opens..............he hopes as soon as Thursday this week subject to last minute cleaning, sterilising pipes, deliveries etc. Graham doesn't have aims to create yet another gastro-pub, which I'm sure will be a relief to many of us locals. He told me he's made various announcements about re-opening on social media platforms but wasn't aware of Liphook Talkback, so here he is.

Re: Royal Oak, Hollywater re-opening - Ben (16th Nov 2023 - 21:28:11) Just been down to the Royal Oak and it opened at 5pm today (or maybe just before as it was raining), Graham and Emma are lovely and we met loads of people who dropped in on the off chance that the pub was opening today. We will pop along on Saturday to see what the live band is like, Wishing the new landlords all the best.
