Caretaker job vacancy at the Liphook Millennium Centre - Jane Sawyer (21st Nov 2023 - 09:20:18) Are you interested in joining our small, friendly team at Bramshott & Liphook Parish Council as a caretaker? This role may suit someone semi-retired or who wishes to supplement another job role. We are currently seeking a flexible and motivated individual who can carry out a caretaker role at the Liphook Millennium Centre. Joining our current staff there, you will be responsible for the following: Carrying out any minor maintenance and repairs of fixtures, fittings and equipment Making sure the Centre is maintained to a good standard and is inviting for visitors Making sure all facilities are available and rooms laid out in accordance with booking requirements, i.e. setting up tables/chairs/audio visual equipment Arranging access to the site for contractors and other authorised persons Carrying out cleaning/janitorial services when required (we do employ a separate cleaner) Carrying out weekly checks of our fire and alarm systems and meter readings Carrying out litter picks around the Centre and keeping it at a high standard Able and willing to work some evenings and weekends as required 20 hours per week, worked flexibly and will include some evening/weekend working What can we offer in return? • Flexible working • Salary of up to £15 per hour • 25 days annual leave • Pension scheme (where eligible) • Friendly, positive working environment If you wish to have an informal chat about the role, please contact the Clerk on 07955 743649 or email clerk@bramshottandliphook-pc.gov.uk.
