LIPHOOK IN BLOOM - LIB (8th May 2024 - 08:01:33) Liphook in Bloom are working this weekend - Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May, meeting at the Midhurst Road Car Park for a 9.30am start. We've had a lovely colourful Spring display but It's now time to dig up bulbs and get the flower beds ready for the Summer planting. All the bulbs are recycled - we keep some to plant again in the Autumn - the others are given to schools and local organisations - and a few are taken home by our volunteers! Please join us if you can on either or both days - you will be made to feel welcome. If you have small gardening tools that will be helpful for getting the small bedding plants and weeds up, and if you have a garden fork or spade that will be even better for digging up the bulbs. No gardening experience necessary - we'll show you what to do. We look forward to seeing you then.

Re: LIPHOOK IN BLOOM - Liphook In Bloom (11th May 2024 - 18:39:13) We cleared the bulbs in The Square this morning. We're meeting again tomorrow (Sunday) to clear the remainder of the beds in preparation for planting new bedding plants. New volunteers always welcome.
