Union’s
- Realist (8th Jun 2024 - 19:55:09)

See the unite union is flexing its muscles won’t back the labour manifesto. Suppose it’s what’s to come the unions will dominate any voting with Rayners backing. Looks like we are going back 30 years or more suppose it will last until the money runs out .

Hmm. Given the likely size of Labour's majority the unions are going to have far less influence than in the past.

Money has already ran out thanks to the Liz Truss crashing the economy and the B word everyone is too frightened to say. The Tories 14 years on government have taken us back 40 years as it’s is…

Time for a change, also time others grew up a bit and stop slagging any of them off for mistakes made by the same parties generations ago, you are aware Maggie Thatcher and Neil Kinnock aren’t running aren’t you? So why bang on about it, or indeed anything over 20 years ago, the world the ideas etc have moved on, about time you did as well.

Stick to talking about recent history, like the last 14 or indeed current, it’s a mess. Time to change it up, frankly I think my pet cat could run the country better than the current idiots

Slightly confused at the original poster’s point.

Surely, by ignoring Unite, this version of Labour is showing it will not be in thrall to the unions? Given the dire state of our national finances, that is likely a good thing.

Sam seem to remember it was Gordon Brown that unleashed the bank and Alistair Darling that screwed the economy in 2008 , the tortes have not done any great shakes since then but it was Blair and Brown who messed the economy up. I know I have a short memory but I remember that .
