New Argos Store open's at Sainsburys Liphook.

Hi,
The new Argos Store at Sainsburys Liphook, is due to open this Wednesday the 30th.
Wide range of products, and rated with good customer service.
Should add to our shopping availability, for our village.

Please don't forget our existing local shops - Liphook Hardware for instance.
If we don't use them, we are at risk of losing them.

Hi,
Like any English village or town going forward, we have to accept large national retailers. Also local businesses to thrive, and bring shoppers into the community areas.

Although there may be some crossover the local hardware shop does not have the room to stock all the goods on the Argos website? From furniture, TVs toys perfumes clothes mobile phones etc? The local hardware shop will survive if they sell products not for sale elsewhere in Liphook or if they sell smaller quantities loose eg bolts and screws etc?

Not sure how you can say "Wide range of products, and rated with good customer service" Paul when the Liphook branch isn't even open.
What happens if the customer service in Liphook is rubbish?
Also I note that the illegally sited Timpsons Pod is still there (in my opinion in the most ridiculous location) and continues trading nearly a year after it was installed without planning permission.
EHDC refused it planning permission in July, Sainsburys have gone to appeal but since it's been installed it has been illegally trading!
