Carnival quiz night
- Lesley Hollands (13th Nov 2024 - 14:39:38)

The carnival quiz night will be on the 23rd November.
Tickets £15 which include a wonderful chicken or vegetarian curry served with basmati rice, naan bread, poppadoms, cucumber yogurt and a hot sweet chilli jelly for those who wish to spice up their meal. This will be followed by home made sticky toffee pudding served with toffee sauce and cream. There will be an alternative for those that don't like curry.
It's a great evening for a good cause.
Tickets available from Sally at Liphook Skin and Beauty in Station Rd and other places.
The doors will open at the church centre at 6.30 so you can get a drink from the bar first and the quiz starts at 7.

Hello, thanks for posting. Can we assume from this then that Liphook Carnival 2025 will definitely happen?

Yes, but more people need to take part. It doesn't have to be a big float although that is always welcome. Fancy dress, push and pull on skateboards or bikes or prams or pushchairs. Family groups or friends getting together work well and always an excuse for a bit of a party afterwards.
There are people out there to help with loaning flat bed lorries and generators. Perhaps people who can do that could put there names forward.
It doesn't need to cost a lot of money, just a bit of imagination and time.
Let's make next years carnival the best yet and fingers crossed for another dry night.
