Frances decline
- Interested (3rd Dec 2024 10:45:40)
What’s going to happen with this latest decline in France. The EU seems to be in turmoil will it affect us as we no longer belong. Perhaps it’s a good thing we are out of the jurisdiction of the Brussels Parliament we can make our own decisions as to how to weather this downturn.

Would be interesting to hear Starmer's view on this.
Nothing coming out of No.10 as yet although thankfully a spokesperson did comment on the other major news story concerning all of us just now - Greg Wallace's behaviour.
Bravo Labour, for getting your priorities in order.

Yes paul2 I think it’s called a labour government with out a clue. Good job we came out of the EU just in time decision was spot on . Perhaps this labour lot will have second thoughts about cosying up to them they will drag us down especially if the British hating French prime minister Michel Barnier stays in power.

Nothing to worry about, just another incompetent Euro government being overthrown by an unholy alliance of communists and far right populist parties, happens ever hundred years or so, it'll be over by Christmas they say..
Korea on the brink, martial law imposed.
Al Qaeda taking over the vacuum in Syria now Hezbollah (sort of) destroyed. Iran, Turkey, America, Israel and Russia all wanting a piece.
Somalia and Nigeria aflame, not to mention Congo, Niger, etc, Al Quaeda doing well there too, quick send aid, £5 a month will build a well or something.
China practicing for war in Taiwan and Japan, S Korea, the US and Australia etc joined in pact against them.
Ukraine demanding NATO boots on the ground and nuclear backup, Russia promising to unleash WWIII if that happens, disagreement in Europe over whether to throw out lot in or not.
Israel saying Iran is next, both of which have or are trying to get illegal nukes😂
I'm sure the list goes on, but nothing to worry about.
Throw Trump into the mix, nothing at all to worry about, I'm sure they have it all under control at Number 10!

So the French prime minister’s gone. The French are in turmoil will this make our labour government sit up and think the people aren’t happy here. Will the people of this country do the same and demand an election. It could happen here . The unions are talking hold the public are muttering unrest is spreading will this government survive.

No party in France had overall control which is why the Barnier was out. Starmer has a massive majority and unless his own party turn against him which is very unlikely, the Labour Government is here to stay and no amount of signatures on a petition is going to change that.
