Dog Care

My husband and I are hoping to get a dog in the spring, which we're very much looking forward to. However, there inevitably, will be times that we can't be there for it so I am researching people/services that can dog sit, and/or take the dog in. I'm not keen on kennels, I prefer the more personal care.
If you have any experiences yourself, or know of someone that could help, please send me their details.
