 New EHDC Chief
East Hampshire District Council has appointed Will Godfrey as successor to departing Chief Executive, Philip Burton. Mr Godfrey's appointment was confirmed at a special meeting of the council in Petersfield last Monday evening.
Mr Godfrey currently works as Head of Policy for the Welsh Local Government Association. He previously worked for Wycombe District Council, the accountants KPMG Peat Marwick, Oxford City Council and West Wiltshire District Council.
The current EHDC Chief Executive, Philip Burton, leaves his post this autumn to become Chief Executive of North Norfolk District Council.
