Constituency boundaries changed for the 2010 general election in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Liphook is now part of the Hampshire East Parliamentary constituency, formerly we were Hampshire North East.
Our local Member of Parliament is Damian Hinds.
Damian Hinds was first elected in 2010 as the MP for East Hampshire, and was re-elected in May 2015. In May 2015 Damian was also appointed Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury with a wide portfolio of treasury responsibilities.
Damian lives between Alton and Petersfield with his wife Jacqui and three young children.
Before Parliament, Damian spent 18 years working in the pubs/brewing and hotel industries, in Britain and abroad.
