This area is known locally as Griggs Green or Griggsgreen (as seen on some road signs).
There is a Starbucks on site (open every day 07.00-18.00). The Kings Restaurant in Old Thorns serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, 7 days a week.

- Lunch: 12.00 - 15.00 (Mon - Sat), 12.00 - 16.00 (Sun)

As you drive towards Old Thorns you will pass The Deers Hut pub an 8 minute walk from the Superchargers - worth a visit if you prefer pub grub, served Mon - Sat 12-3pm; 6-9:30pm and Sunday 12-4pm; 6-8pm. The pub itself is open from 11am-11pm Mon-Sat and 12noon-10:30pm on Sunday.
