Yes and not able to get new BBC HD channels (news and BBC Four etc) - not impressed. Hopefully it is just temporary with the fog.

Just spent a long time on the phone to freeview and the BBC.
It's quite complicated but apparently Hannington signal may be turned up in Jan and we will get better signal and new BBC HD channels.
Until this week we got everything apart from BBC 1, BBC News, BBC Four from Midhurst with a strong signal. BBC have no plans at any time to put latest HD channels on Midhurst, which seems crazy.
I think I may get aerial turned towards Hannington and hope signal improves.
Atmospheric problems are due to lift on Friday.
| | Hannington currently gives the strongest signal in many parts of Liphook. Although still suffers from atmospheric disturbances. If you currently point at Midhurst and are not normally getting perfect Freeview then try getting the aerial turned (almost exactly 180 degrees - approx NW)towards Hannington and re-tune. |

I have had trouble with freeview, I was talking to a friend who lives in the West Country, and she has had the same problem, so it seems to be country wide, I hope freeview get the problem sorted soon.

Thanks for the update on Midhurst and lack of BBC HD channels. For those with a spare satellite dish Freesat has all the new HD channels and is relatively free from atmospherics.

Whereas a dish is required to receive fabulous FreeSat reception, I suspect a "plate" will not achieve the same level of success, leastwise a Haslemere one.
