Knitting Wool Wanted
- annehall (16th Jan 2014 - 20:34:26)
At Liphook Day Centre the Clients do a lot of knitting and spend time knitting baby items for premature babies, squares for blankets, wooly hats and now jumpers for Penquins who have been caught in oil slicks. One Client even does french knitting on a cotton reel making table mats and pencil containers. All this is good therapy for the hands and keeps the fingers moving. Our only problem is that we are running out of wool and wonder if anyone has any odd balls that we could use to carry on with our knitting sessions. If you have we would be very pleased to receive it at the Liphook Day Centre,Midhurst Road Thank you as always for your support.

Hi
I have a rather large stash of wool which I would love to donate. Is there any particular wool you are looking for? I have some cotton DK and 4 ply and other bits and pieces but if you think it would be useful would be happy to drop this to the Day Centre.

Thank you Marian - Double knitting is being used at the moment but would be grateful of anything that our Clients can use to knit the items which they donate to other Charities etc.
Many thanks. Day Centre opens Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday 9a.m.-3-30p.m.if you can kindly drop the wool off on any one of these days it would be appreciated.
