Chimney Cowls - advice/fitter equired
- Sharon (19th Jan 2014 - 15:46:24)
Hi
I've searched for threads on chimneys, and most relate to sweeps and chimney repairs. What I need is some good advice on what the best type of cowl is that I need and someone to fit it.
I'm fed up of rain dripping down and making a mess - and the odd bird dropping by!
Does anyone have any good recommendations?

I have just had mine done for the same reason.
I used Len Goddard, and would recommend.
To supply and fit one was £90 and the other one which had to be sealed off was £110.
His email is below:

All I need now is for the plumber to get back to me - waited a week for him to give me a quote after visiting last Monday! and to try to get through to Mr Christmas who doesn't answer his phone and does not have an answering service. Then well have the fireplace finished.
