Cat's Protection in Hindhead can help you. What a wonderful chance to give a cat a loving home!

You could also try phoning the local vets to see if they have any adverts on their boards.
Ours came via St. Peters Vets in Petersfield.
Good luck!

Forgot to say that cat's protection are having a family fun, fundraising day on 5th July. Lots of events,BBQ, ferret racing, bouncy castles, etc.
It's also a chance to look at the cats who are looking for new homes.
I've put my name down with them for a rescue kitten myself - give them a call and have a chat :-)

I know everybody loves a kitten - I do myself, and am a fosterer for the Cats Protection who give me the teeny tiny orphans to hand rear. I then have to hand them back at 6 weeks for re-homing - heartbreaking but very satisfying and I know they're going to good homes. They do grow up so very quickly though and your little fluffy kitten is an adult cat before you can turn around, so can I put out a plea for all the grown up kittens at Cats Protection who would also love a forever home - they were small and fluffy once and are just as needy and give just as much pleasure and love - they just don't look quite as cute!

We got our cat, Hector, from the Cats Protection League. He is 8+ and was found as a stray. He is full of character, very affectionate and goes doolally if he gets hold of catnip!
- So please consider an older cat, they may not always be as cute but can be just as much fun as kittens. - And they would love a good home.

Hi, absolutely agree about adopting an older cat and originally asked for one but after a review of our particular set up (2 cats, guinea pigs, rabbit, teo children including a disabled child) a younger cat was recommended by the team.
I'm so impressed with them, there's a really thorough review of your circumstances and ensuring that there's a great match.
There are older and young cats waiting according to the team member I spoke to. There's a very friendly two year old for example who really wants a home...
