Housing Scheme Bids
Two contentious proposed housing schemes at Liphook are due to go before a planning committee tomorrow. Councillors are being recommended to grant outline planning permission for both of them.
The largest of the two proposals is on land at the rear of existing homes in Longmoor Road, where developers want to build 19 new dwellings.
The other is on land north of Tunbridge Crescent, where four homes are proposed.
Both schemes are being strongly opposed by existing residents, with 16 letters of objection being senting East Hampshire District Council opposing the original plans for Longmoor Road.
18 letters of objection on the original planning application for Tunbridge Crescent were also received.
