Cher and Tom Jones
Tickets for the next Liphook Millennium Centre show, a "Stars in Their Eyes" cabaret evening on Friday June 11, have just gone on sale. They are £16 each, which includes a first free drink and snacks throughout the evening.
Doors open at 7.15pm and the show starts at 8pm. Show will close at around 10.30-10.45.
Freddie Dawkins, Vice Chairman of the LMC Management Committee, said: "This will be an unusual evening in Liphook; the Millennium Centre has never staged a cabaret evening like this before. We are setting up a stage in the centre of the hall, with tables and chairs arranged around, so it's very much like a cabaret club and brings the audience much nearer to the performers."
Yvonne Halen will appear as Cher; Billy Lee will appear as Tom Jones; and the whole evening will be hosted by singer Dave Simpson.
A full bar service, with all the new beers which have recently been added, will be open all evening and idea is to run the entertainment continuously, much as if the audience were in a real cabaret club.
There will be a few extra surprises during the evening, so Freddie Dawkins hopes there will be good support for the latest show.
Tickets from the Millennium Centre (723889) or the Parish Office (722988).
