Best Kept Village
Liphook has been praised for its community spirit after being awarded the accolade of Hampshire's best kept village.
The trophy was presented at a ceremony at the Millennium Hall on Saturday.
It was the first time Liphook had won the prize, which has been awarded every year since 1971 by Hampshire Magazine.
But the honour follows several triumphs in the Southern England in Bloom competition – now South in Bloom – in which Liphook's community spirit has also been widely praised.
