Breast cancer support group - anyone interested?? - Jane Ives (25th Feb 2015 - 16:19:16) I have been having treatment for breast cancer for a year and have received much support from many local friends which has been invaluable. However, I'm aware that having cancer can make you feel really isolated and the nearest breast cancer support group is in Alton and people may not be able to, or wish to, travel that far. All I'm really wanting to do at this stage is just meet for a regular coffee and a chat, nothing formal. I'm happy if this is daytime, evening or weekends whatever suits. I would love to meet women who have either been through breast cancer treatment and would like to share their experiences and maybe offer support to others, or women who have recently been diagnosed or currently going through treatment and wish to talk to someone with some knowledge of what they are going through.
