hi were abouts in liphook are you and do you take caravans?.I have a holiday park in the south downs and am looking to upgrade my existing caravans, and am finding it to be quite a task locating companys to remove and break my old stock. I assume as your advert states that you are a professional fully licenced and train establishment.

Dear Mr Bray,
Can you tell us if you are running a licensed yard or if you are operating in contravention of a stop notice- as has been suggested? This will put an end to the matter.

Thanks
Dawn

- A.Bray (21st Dec 2009 - 19:41:33)

Hi sorry for delay in coming back to this posting I have at present a family member in intensive care in London who is very unwell.

1) my yard is fully licensed by HCC the licence has cost over £7,000.00 pounds.so if no licence please could you tell me were my money is.! it is the only waste transfer station in the local area the yard its self is totally concreted with all new interceptor tanks in the yard have been inspected and past by Hampshire county council, east Hampshire council and the environment agency the yard as inspections from EHDC every six mouths and random checks from the environment agency 6 times a year with a cost to me of over £200 pounds a visit on top of the usual business council tax there is also a new weighbridge this is inspected by trading standards every year any one is more than welcome to come take a look for them self's this yard as never had a stop notices put on it I was asked 3 years ago by Hampshire county council to bring the yard up to date which I did by investing over £200,000.00 in the yard this yard was one of many yards that was in longmoor road but over the last 20 years all the but one or two are left.the rest have been built on

2) the persons behind this attack on this web site at me and others purchased some bog land behind there house and next to the weavers down bog owned by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust OS Map 186, Grid Ref SU810315 and this is a sink. are them self's under investigation by east Hampshire and Hampshire council and the and environment agency for chopping down trees raising the land level by over one meter and erecting sheds and siting of large mobile home on the land which is visible from the A 3 they have also filled all the ditches with large yellow gas pipes were did the pipes come and more waste of all sorts which is brought in by a large grab lorry and tipped at the dead end on longmoor road and when the council arrived they said some one else is fly tipping there this person approached me two years ago and asked me if I would be interested in paying him to tip our waste on the land I asked if he had planning permission to do this he told me he did not need any type of permission for this I declined the offer and when this came to light he blamed every one but him self by way of threats to his next door neibour who is a parish councillor they were band from the co op and post office in Liphook for attacking there own daughter they have made false allegations against two of our local fireman

3) we have always supported local events and charity's liphook carnival, bramshott and liphook dart league, petersfield youth academy darts, deershut rugby 7's ground works at radford park and we have sponsored many more I have lived in liphook all of my life I do not understand how some think can be printed with out some ones full name when this can be so damaging to local company's A.Bray

Re: scrap yard in liphook
- D.Bell (22nd Dec 2009 - 18:11:39)

To A.Bray,
Is it or is it not true, that you were infact caught red handed by the environments agency, for tipping 100's of tonnes of commercial waste on a meadow at conford?
Waste that local people had paid you the going rate to clear in skips in the belief that you were a responsible person running a credible buisness.
Please respond.

hi i am the daughter that used to work in the co-op and would like to state that for the record my father has never attacked or asaulted me in any way and i do not appreciate such lies being put on the internet

Re: scrap yard in liphook
- A.Bray (22nd Dec 2009 - 22:17:42)

no katie it was your mum that attacked you when you worked at argolin while your dad watched it was all on cctv and the police were called and your mum had to pay a fine

Re: scrap yard in liphook
- katie (23rd Dec 2009 - 10:38:27)

as far as im concered this is a local site to talk about local businesses not to talk about acusations involving my private life which i do not apreciate which is not true as my mother has no criminal convictions which is a matter of public record and nor has she ever paid a fine

Re: scrap yard in liphook
- john (27th Dec 2009 - 18:36:52)

Messers Bray,

Instead of telling lies on this site, why don't you answer the questions put to you!.
Infact why don't i answer some for you. You are NOT licenced by the Environments Agency or the H.C.C to run a waste or Scrap metal buisness are you!. This is a matter of public record. Your so called yard was not a yard until you made it one, it was infact a residential garden, look at any historical map! again a matter of public record. You have been operating illegally for years, Tipping and burning waste wherever and whenever you can, a matter of public record.
I have photographic evidence of you tipping on my land in your lorrys waste that was supposed to be top soil. I stopped you from doing this and that is when you turned nasty. I also have photograpic proof of you tipping waste at other locations.
Copies of which are with my solicitor and the relevent authorities.
I thought you may like to know that i recieved a christmas card from the isle of wight trust last week thanking me for the work i have done for them on the bog last year and that they are looking forward to working with me again next year.
As for the caravan you know full well myself and family were flooded in july 2007 and we had to reside in the caravan whilst our home was reffited.
I am also interested to know who told you i had made false allegations about two firemen, and what did i accuse them of doing?.
On the subject of firemen, wasn't it you who put lives at risk during one of your toxic waste burning exercises in your so called yard which is infact only a few meters from neighbouring residential properties, a fire so bad it took 6 hours or more with three pumps to extinguish!.
A matter of public record.
I have never been under investigation as far as i am aware for chopping down trees.
As for the lies you have printed about myself and my wife attacking our daughter, i have already informed my solicitor, so i hope you have deep pockets and i am looking forward to seeing you in court in the new year.
You have been hoodwinking good people for years, people who do the right thing, when disposing of their scrap and waste or so they think by paying you good money to take their waste away.
Fully licenced , I think not!! or ever likely to be so, I think not!!.
And by the way chucking a few quid in the charity pot at a pub darts match dosn't make you a sterling guy or above the law, neither does being chums with a parish councillor.

You are the quintecential village idiot!!!!
P.S What happened to the construction plant the police removed from your yard. A matter of public record.

Is this the same AWB?

Re: scrap yard in liphook
- Steve Wilson (29th Jan 2017 - 00:36:48)

The yard has always been there it use to be a lockup for lorries that were cement lorries. They were loaded there and 2/3 Liphook people delivered concrete mix around the area. So no it was not a garden. Have you looked in the right place have found the licence on line. The yard were you are talking about Mr bray had for a time then a other company took it over for a few years before pulling out and Mr bray taking in back over. When the other company had it the yard was a mess, but when Mr bray took it back on the yard was immaculate. I don't know who you are slagging this company off, but yr a coward not going in to talk to them. Yr a very sad person that needs to get a life!!!!!

You invested £200,000 in a small scrap yard in liphook....hardly a worthwhile investment.

£200,000 spent clearing up the mess you seem to have created would be a better start. Show the community you care?

Re: scrap yard in liphook
- Steve Wilson (29th Jan 2017 - 14:36:12)

Think you will find the water board made the parking outside the yard for the lorries !!!! They had Sewage overflowing everywhere and the water board took over the yard with pumps and lorries to take the waist away. With your other remarks on the other link it's so obvious you live with in 2/3 houses of the yard. There are more things in life to worry about!!! There are people with cancer and horrible things like that don't you think they wish that's all they had to worry about. The parking area has to stay incase the sewage problems happen again.
