- Very happy dog owner (28th Jul 2015 - 20:53:08)
I just wanted to praise Small World Vets in Station Road.
On site emergency service, professional, reasurring vet and an all round breath of fresh air to our village.
I really cannot praise them enough!

Phil recently did a large operation on my old greyhound. He was caring and friendly and I would certainly recommend Small World Vets to all pet owners. My old lady held no grudges and was keen to see him for her checkups.
Great place for the surgery too.

Very pleased to see this post. I shall be looking after daughter's large dog from tomorrow and she's recently had enteritis. Might very well have to use their services. Do they keep dogs overnight there - do they live on the premises?

I also wanted to say how great Small World Vets is - not just Phil, but the whole team there.
I've been in quite a few times to have our puppy weighed so we can chart her progress and they're always so helpful and accommodating, and great with the puppy. Would thoroughly recommend them.

Hi Mary,
Thanks for your interest. We have in-patient wards (cats and dogs accommodated separately) for any animals needing over-night care and staff stay on site to tend to them. If your daughter's dog is under current treatment, give us a call and we'll make sure we have the case notes from her 'home' vet ready (if your daughter is happy for them to be released to us for the purpose). Hopefully she'll be well during her stay!
Regards,
Phill

Completely agree with all the other posts on this thread, they were great today when one of our cats was sadly killed on the Headley Road. Someone (thank-you whoever you were) took him straight up to the vets and they tried to save him. My wife was very upset and I can only say the guys were both brilliant with obviously trying to save the cat but also with the sensitive way they compassionately dealt with my wife and the advice offered on what to do next. Many thanks

I would like to also say how wonderful they are. My old boy blew up like a balloon and I rushed him down to Phil who, after a few X-rays, said he was full of food.
It seems Toby stole a whole sponge cake unbeknownst to us.
Phil popped in to check on him the next day. Fab service and truly caring.

A very big Thank you to all staff for making my nervous Labrador cross Boston Terrier relaxed. She was very nervous about visiting the vets.
Staff where very friendly, polite, calming and welcoming. From receptionist, vet nurse and a very calm and friendly vet. Who was great with both my Labrador cross Boston Terrier and Doberman.
We are all very happy to stay with small world vets.
They clearly care about animals visiting them.
I highly recommend them.
Keep up the good work :-)
