Cash for Village Hall
Liphook Village Hall is to receive £12,500 from a new grant (which will also aid arts organisations) announced last week by Hampshire County Council.
The cash, which forms part of the county councils Community Support Partnership Funding process, is to aid in the building of new storage facilities and committee rooms, the addition of toilets for disabled people and baby facilities, improvements to the food servery and the refurbishment of (and extension to) the main hall.
In addition, arts organisations in Hampshire have been awarded £6350 by the county council to aid the funding of arts projects, festivals and events.
