Liphook Nostalgia on Facebook
- Liphook Nostalgia (2nd Feb 2016 - 09:02:41)

Hi All,

I've set up a Facebook page for Liphook people to share photos, stories, local folklore, memories and anecdotes.

I've put a few pics up, but don't have that many! I'm hoping the page will benefit from everyones input.

Only set it up yesterday so its a bit bare at the moment.

So get yourselves, your photos and your memoirs across to: www.facebook.com/groups/1026371494072408/

Invite your friends, relatives and anyone else with an affinity to Liphook!

This is excellent but could the photos etc. be posted on this website as well?

For all interested in joining the group, the above link is to the old page.

The new one is:

facebook.com/groups/1026371494072408

This is because when I first set it up, I set it up as a Facebook 'page' This wasn't a good move as visitors posts don't show up in the main timeline.

I fixed it by re-creating it as a Facebook 'group.
Its attracted a fair bit of initial interest with 400+ members, lots of quality pics and memories.

Of course, its only good as the content on there, which is all down to its members! Get yourselves over there if you haven't already!

Whoever you are, thank you so much for Liphook Nostalgia! It is so wonderful to be able to remember the fantastic times we had when we lived in Hampshire. I have caught up with so many childhood friends. Liphook and the surrounding area will always have my heart.
