Best local bluebell woods?
- Bush (27th Apr 2016  19:38:50)

Where are the best and most accessible bluebell woodlands local to us?

The woods around Linchmere are beautiful at the moment. If you have a local os map look out for Ash Copse and Cognor wood in particular.

The woods to the left of the Portsmouth Road near the old Milland Church are carpeted with bluebells each year, a picture.

Hi Bush,
How far to you want to travel.
Today my wife and I went to Micheldever Woods near Winchester. They are out of this world. Sat/Nav Post Code is SO24 9UB. It is well worth going about 25 miles.
Last week we went West Ashling near Chichester and Patching near Worthing they were both very nice but not as good as what we saw today.
Take a trip out it is well worth it.

Any Alton / Selbourne way?
