Local artist invited
Bramshott & Liphook Art and Crafts Society has invited Havant based artist and illustrator, Gillian Langley BA Hons, Cert Ed to demonstrate painting interiors in watercolours and mixed media on Thursday 1st February at
Liphook Village Hall, Headley Road, Liphook.
Gillian will be using a variety of watercolour techniques, specialising in
the exciting use of line, incorporating an intermixture of papers to capture
the multi-layered facets within the subject. Questions will be welcomed
during the evening’s demonstration.
Gillian studied Art, Design Media and has a Certificate in Education and has
published illustrations in The Guardian newspaper and Homes & Gardens
magazine. Gillian has held successful solo exhibitions at Queen Elizabeth
County Park and her work sells across Hampshire. Gillian is an experienced
teacher who holds drawing and watercolour painting classes and runs
workshops for mature students.
The meeting runs from 8 pm to 10 pm with a break for refreshments and is
free to BLACS members. Visitors are welcomed on the night (ticket price
