 Railway Club
Liphook & District Model Railway Club will be exhibiting again at
the Midhurst Modellers Show at The Grange Midhurst, this year being held on Sunday 25th February 2007.
The club temporarily lost its permanent home in October 2006 & has since
then been holding meetings in a members garage.
Despite this the club has been building a new N gauge layout called
Cottlestone Park for a first outing at the Midhurst Show.
The layout recreates British Rail in the 1970's & onwards into
privitisation.
The layout has been built in a record 4 months, with all members of the club
"pitching in" to help the four N gauge modellers in the club. This has
meant some adjustment for other modellers in the club who are used to
modelling in scales two & threee times as big!
Please come along to Midhurst to see the show, which includes models of all
types of transport in addition to railways.
If you are interested in model railways & live locally, drop in & have a
chat with us.
We have been in existence for over 40 years & model in 4mm (00) & 7mm (0) in
addition to N, with layouts in all 3 scales.
