 Liss Roman Project
A little bit out of our area but....
Liss Roman Villa Project. They dig every September and people can visit the site most days. They have an OPEN weekend on the 22nd & 23rd September from 10am to 4pm.
Admission is free. They will give guided tours and Legio Secvnda Avgvsta (Roman Living History Society) will give demonstrations throughout the day. The roman villa project is supported by: The National Lottery (via the Heritage Fund), Hampshire County Council, EHDC and Liss Parish Council.
The location site is on the Hawkley Road from Liss and it is well signposted by yellow AA signs.
