 BLACS anniversary
Liphook is getting ready for a one of its annual highlights this weekend as the Bramshott & Liphook Arts & Crafts Society prepares for it's 25th Anniversary Annual Exhibition in its new larger venue, the Liphook Millennium Centre.
Open Saturday 6th October & Sunday 7th October 11 am to 5 pm, the Exhibition includes the Annual Craft Fair as well as art work produced by BLACS members who include award-winning artists such as Roger Deller and Jan Harbon.
The Exhibition will include the entrants to the Liphook Heritage Centre competition and both craft and art work will be available for sale.
The popular People's Choice competition will be running again this year, allowing visitors to nominate their favourite work for a special prize. "We are looking forward to an even more exciting event this year. It's an ideal chance to purchase unique and high quality pieces by talented artists", said Sumi Beken, Publicity Officer for BLACS, "not only have we maintained an awesome standard of work by our members over the past 25 years, but we have an opportunity to celebrate in a wonderful new venue with more space and facilities for our visitors. We're looking forward to welcoming old friends and new!"
