Someone mentioned a good dentist in Liphook - are there any patients of local practices prepared to rave about their treatment? It would be nice to find somewhere within walking distance, since local transport is so inadequate.

Hi Me and my family go to oak lodge which is on the headley road 1) its easy to get to and within walking distance for me and 2) we see Debbie and she's amazing as I'm quite nervous going to the dentist debbie puts me at ease. Really friendly practise . Obvously you pay for what you get and it's a fab little place
I did attend the dentist the one at vickerage road haslmere ( NHS ) and I shall not be going back to the male dentist there . I had told him about this and that that I wanted to sort and paying private going to cost a lot so I was going to get some done on NHS and half private ( nothing wrong with that ) but there is when the dentist cannot see the problems when they are there and can feel the holes and he says there arnt any put me right off shall not be going back there I'm looking for a NHS dentist too I'm back to square one but will still go to oak lodge me and my family . I feel sorry for all the residents young and old in liphook that do not drive and do not have the money for a private dentist as we need one in liphook do you not all think so or is itjust me that feels that way ?
Why isn't there one ? It would be a great help for all of us in liphook.

Hi Debbie,
I'm really sorry to hear of your bad experience at my practice. I welcome all feedback, good and bad, and would like the opportunity to discuss further with you, if you would like to contact me at the practice.
We do have 3 dentists working at the practice, and you are most welcome to visit someone different should you prefer.
Our practice is still accepting new NHS patients, exempt as well as fee paying, and although we are in Haslemere, the train station is just 20 minutes walk from us, we also have a large car park for those patients who are able to drive to visit us.
Our existing patients will notice there have been a lot of positive changes to our practice over the past year to provide the best patient care we can, and we are now offering extended opening hours (including late evening and weekend appointments) to meet the needs of our patients.
Best regards,
Claudia
Practice Manager

Hi thank you very much for your reply
But I shall not be coming back I'm a very nervous patient and it just put me off coming to your dental practise am had I of paid private and not NHS charge I would of made a official complaint . Now I have a few things wrong with my teeth but I came to your practise for something in particular and to get it fixed asap and to have some fillings done to take the ease of cost away from us as a family as private is extaunshionate but will have to pay the price !
I cannot believe that this dentist man I had seen couldn't see the fillings I was showing him . And the other problem I had came to your practise with something definekty wrong there and had nearly choked me by putting in the wrong size X-ray plastic thing isn't my mouth by hurting my tongue and sides of my mouth then he tried again with a diff one then tried again and I was trying to wave my hands and I actually turned my head side to side to get him off me and I said no way your not putting anything into my mouth there's no way I be coming back your dentist
Thank you anyway

If you want an excellent NHS Dentist try High St Dental Practice in Petersfield. I have had various NHS dentists over the years and this is by far the best, located right down the end of the high street on the left opposite the Red Lion pub. There are I believe 3 dentists in the practice and the one I use is Mr Irani who is very polite and treats you brilliantly. Tel No is 01730 265580.
