 Counterfit cash!
A team of counterfeiters, who have been active in East Hampshire in the past are now spreading fake currency in the Liphook.co.uk area!
So far all of the forged currency has consisted of £20 notes, all bearing serial numbers sending ??36410650.
Police are keen to identify more of the notes in the same series which have been passed onto businesses.
Anyone, especially banks and retailers who think they might have samples of the forged notes, or other information which may be useful should called PC 1244 Tucker at Petersfield Police Station on 0845 0454545 ext. 775123.
