 Family Fun Day
takes place on Sunday 22nd June 2008 on the Village Green and in the Millennium Hall. There will be a whole host of activities, stalls, attractions and entertainment for all the family. The fun starts at 11 am and finishes at 4.00 pm.
Organised by the Liphook Carnival Committee, here’s just a taste of what you can do
- Enjoy rides on the family fun fair
- Bounce on the inflatable
- Watch entertainment provided by Haslemere Performing Arts, Planet Dance, Liphook Academy of Dance and Stagecoach.
- Taste the delights of the Fat Boys BBQ
- Visit the Beer Tent
- Listen to the Live Band
- Be entertained by Jingles the Jester
- Win a week’s holiday in a Cornish Cottage – www.cornishseaviewcottages.co.uk
- Enjoy tea, coffee and cakes with the Guides
- Listen to the wonderful Hollycombe Steam Organ and Steam Engine.
- Peruse the variety of stalls selling items such as jewellery, sweet peas, craft, fudge, local ice-cream and decoupage.
- Take part in children’s craft activities
- Enjoy some time in our ‘Pamper Booth’
- Have your face painted
- Play at being a fireman
- Throw wet sponges at volunteers!
- Plus all the usual pocket money stalls
- Drive an Altis Digger
- Bottle and Chocolate Tombolas
More attractions to be confirmed, plus keep a look out for Programmes (which includes a Timetable of events) which will be available from local retailers from the beginning of June.
All the proceeds from the Fun Day will go towards this year’s Carnival so PLEASE come along and support us and most of all HAVE FUN! It’s FREE to get in!!
