New Liphook charity
Palls were proud to announce the official launch of TLC, which was held at the Millennium Hall in Liphook on the 25th September 2008.
Many guests and local dignitaries joined TLC's patron, Lord Selborne, in celebrating the launch of Hospice Services at Home TLC, (Therapies Linked to Care) which evolved as a result of the success of Palls (Priority Palliative Care), based in Passfield, Liphook.
Palls was set up as a result of the sad, untimely closure of King Edward VII hospital and have delivered a ‘hands on’ Hospice Nursing Service in the community to patients within the borders of Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire.
Since Palls registered, 22 months ago, they have cared for 60 patients in their own homes. Due to the high level of care Palls provide, grateful relatives have sent donations on behalf of their loved ones, which has facilitated the charity.
The charity recognises objectives in the community that PCT's are not able to address due to lack of funds. Palls is aware that patients and relatives can benefit immensely from therapies such as aromatherapy, massage etc.
If you would like to get involved in fundraising or want any further information about the charity, or indeed Palls, you can ring the office on 01428 751 977 or email chris@priority.uk.com.
The charity registration no. is 1123417.
