Blooming bonus prize
Liphook, which came up trumps after winning the small country town category in Southern England in Bloom last summer, also came home with an unexpected bonus from last week's presentation evening.
Held at Wimborne Minster in Dorset, the annual prizegiving included the presentation of a handsome new trophy to Liphook, for photographs of many floral highlights in the village.
Judges gave Liphook high marks for its floral displays and permanent landscaping, and for community involvement.
