Liphook Carnival
The weather was kind to Liphook's 100th Carnival. The rain held off for long enough for the largest ever procession of floats and fancy dress through the village centre on Saturday evening.
The celebrations were opened with a breathtaking fireworks display, and the crowning of the Carnival Queen.
Thousands of spectators were treated to a procession which included Caribbean steel drum bands, the World Cup, Titanic and a Water Taxi.
The success of the evening was due in no small part to the work of the Carnival Committee.
