Liphook Day Centre - appeal
- Editor (22nd Dec 2020 - 14:28:43)

Following the senseless destruction of outdoor seating, which was covered up and stored at the rear of the Liphook Day Centre, the managers are appealing for anyone who has a 6’ x 8’ shed that they can erect to store replacement chairs and other outdoor equipment that is used by their elderly clients.

Please contact Paul Robinson by e-mail on probabc@btinternet.com

I can’t help with a shed, but I will be very pleased indeed to make a financial donation towards whatever is needed. Feel free to pass this on.

Senseless oafs demolished a supporting brick pillar on the Chiltlee Manor Estate around the same time. A neighbour kindly removed the bricks before they could be used as weapons by, no doubt, those same oafs.

In these difficult, sad times, such wanton acts of destruction are disgusting. I hope whoever did it has an absolutely HORRIBLE Christmas and that Santa forgets to deliver their pressies. 😈😈😈😈

J

Oh, Happy Christmas to everyone ! πŸ€—πŸŽ„πŸŽ„πŸŽ„πŸŽ„ But not to them... 😑

Is public flogging legal? If not, it should be.

Hi Paul I personally do not know how to set up crowdfunding for this but if there was sonething like that or just giving then we could all raise money for it that way.

Is it time for the parish council to install a set of stocks on the millennium

Dear All

Thank you to everyone who has shown their support to us in the last few days with the offer of furniture and donations of cash to replace the damage.

We are currently in the throes of setting up a Go Fund Me account for this and will keep everyone posted as to our progress.

It is hoped that we will fund raise to install a shed for safe storage and some furniture.

Thank You

Maybe we need to raise money for a larger shed - to lock the vandals in !

I'll be more than happy to donate for replacement furniture.

Happy Christmas everyone

Hi

Now that we are in lockdown, will anyone be able to collect post from the Day Centre? I have a cheque for you but don’t want to risk putting the envelope through the letterbox if it won’t be collected any time soon.

Thanks
J
