Charity motorbike ride
On 20th June a group of local motorbike riders will attempt to ride from Lands End to John O Groats in DAYLIGHT.
This gives them 17hrs and 12 minutes to cover 874 miles - averaging 51 mph, but allowing for refueling this needs to increase to 54 mph.
Including the ride to Lands End and back from John O Groats they will cover a total of 1839 miles. A very tough and demanding ride.
They are riding for a variety of charities, including Parkinson's Disease Society, Cystic Fibrosis and Afnet.
All donations will go to the charities as the riders are covering all the costs themselves.
You can donate via www.justgiving.com/robinseymour-pil - if you want the money to go to Cystic Fibrosis, or you can send a cheque payable to one of the charities to
