LBI - AGM 23rd September
Liphook Business Initiative is pleased to advise that they will be holding their Annual General Meeting at 6.00pm on Thursday 23 September 2010 at Bramshott Social Club.
All existing members and potential new members are encouraged to attend. There will be a resume of LBI’s progress in the last 12 months and a chance for members to discuss how the organisation can be moved forward. Panel Member Robert Nock of Pro-Potential said ‘The LBI needs the help of the members to set course for next year. We need their input and involvement to increase the activity of the organisation’
Over the last year LBI has created its web presence at www.liphookbusiness.co.uk, held a number of successful, well attended networking meetings and created Business Packs containing member details for distribution at local events. There have also been advertising opportunities provided such as Banner advertising at Liphook United Football Club.
Panel Member Jan Buckett of JMB Accounting said “It is essential that as many members of LBI support and attend the AGM, we need their feedback and assistance to move the organisation forward and provide what the membership requires”
Liphook Business Initiative now has a membership in excess of 70 members and has been formed to create a business community in Liphook. It is open to all businesses that are registered in the Bramshott & Liphook Parish. The mission statement is “to promote Liphook Businesses in the community, to provide a focus for members to seek solutions and achieve common interests and to act as a lobby group”
