Bordon Tip - AF (24th Aug 2023 - 14:10:44) Happy days at the tip. At least 20 cars waiting to get in. What a wonderfull system time slots are. Now of course under the old system I could have tried again later but with booking I will just have to wait.

Re: Bordon Tip - Local (24th Aug 2023 - 15:15:25) Went yesterday two cars waiting got in on time. Very unusual to have that many cars waiting something must have gone wrong with the time slots it’s usually a very good system saves having to queue or go back several times.

Re: Bordon Tip - Jon (24th Aug 2023 - 16:07:31) As someone who had their car written off pre booking era, whilst sitting in the queue outside and hit from behind, I'm in still in favour of the booking system. Only slight holdup's have been when containers need replacing, so for health & safety reasons they hold everyone back on the exit ramp, but this has only been for 5-10mins which may cause some partial delay. AF could always move to Surrey as I believe they don't have a booking system (correct me if I'm wrong). Sam has mentioned the 3 reoccurring topics on this website & your the only one who continually reposts about the tip. On the plus side DEFRA in June, did announce that charges to DIY waste were to be abolished somewhen later this year, so hopefully less fly-tipping that blights our countryside.

And despite the overwhelming support of the new booking system by others whom reply it keeps going. Essentially we are being Trolled over and over again on a subject an absolute minority wants to Troll us on. The internet is full of articles and comments from many Hampshire county councilors that the booking system is now PERMANENT & FOREVER as its data it allows them to efficiently manage and plan capacity & the vast majority of customers apart from AF love the new system. Any chance you can just get over it? the booking system isn't going anywhere and the days of rocking up to a dirty pit and tipping all your stuff into it whenever and how ever you want are completely over.
