LHS Autumn Show - Liphook Horticultural Society (29th Aug 2023 - 08:30:35) This Saturday 2 September 2023, Liphook Horticultural Society are holding their Autumn Show at the Church Centre, Liphook GU30 7DJ. We welcome visitors to come and look around the exhibits between 2 and 4pm. If you'd like to enter, your entries need to be in by Wednesday 30th August. All the details are in the programme/schedule which is available on our website. www.liphookhortsoc.org.uk It's 30p a class, children free and staging is between 7.45 and 10am on Saturday 2nd September. If you have never entered this show before, there is a class especially for you - dahlias mixed - 3 blooms, one vase. And just for fun, a class for everyone to enter - a wonky vegetable - to be voted by people's choice. Alongside all the vegetable, flower and fruit classes, as usual we have Flower Arrangements, Cookery and Children's classes. Please remember no floral foam is to be used. Tea/coffee and delicious homemade cakes are available in the afternoon between 2 and 4pm. There is a stall for the sale of plants and produce - if you have any plants or produce you'd like to donate, we'd be very happy. There will be a raffle - likewise, any prizes gratefully received. If you know of anyone who would like to join the Society, there is an opportunity to do so at the show. As we are so close to our membership renewal date of 1 October, their membership will run until 1 October 2024. We look forward to seeing you there.
