Hindhead Tunnel Closures Mon 4th-Fri 15th Sept 9pm-6am

To anyone on night shifts or an early riser to work, the tunnel will be fully closed(both directions) for maintenance/testing work, weeknights from Mon 4th-Fri 15th Sept 2023, 9:00pm-6:00am.

Think the 28mile diversion is probably aimed at HGV's so use local routes A286, assuming slip roads still open.

Milford exit for Haslemere still going to be open?
And why do they keep closing it in both directions. Do one half and contraflow the other half, then do the other half.
Not that blooming difficult to organise.
