Liphook Carnival 2024 - SteveC (12th Nov 2023 - 10:02:27) I have been told unofficialy by someone associated with the Carnival that although this year's Carnival was perceived to be moderately successful, the overall cost along with the usual struggle to get helpers, and the relatively small amount raised means there is some doubt that the event will continue next year? I know after last year's event the committee announced immediately that the tradition was to continue, are they able to confirm once again that we can look forward to Carnival 2024? Thank you.

Re: Liphook Carnival 2024 - Tess (14th Nov 2023 - 08:35:16) Let’s just wait and see. I think the Carnival Committee do a fantastic job. However, I am sure that like other voluntary organisations in the village, they may struggle for volunteers and funds to balance the books. We have some amazing facilities in Liphook so lets support them in any way we can.
