Liphook Scouts Christmas Post 2023
- Liphook Scouts (27th Nov 2023 - 13:33:46)

Liphook Scouts can deliver your Christmas cards to people in Liphook, Bramshott, Passfield, Conford and Fernhurst for just 25p a card.

Look out for our yellow boxes in Sainsburys, Co-op and Gables from Saturday (2nd Dec).

Just drop your cards in the box alongside payment and we'll stamp them for you (or you can buy stamps from Gables, from Saturday).

Last collection is noon on Saturday 16th December, and we'll deliver all the cards from Sunday 17th.

Thank you!

Well done Liphook Scouts, just how long how you been offering this wonderful service, good luck xx

Thanks Dee! The records suggest the first year for the Liphook Scout Post was 1989. The task grows every year, as the village expands... we now have 150+ roads to cover in Liphook alone!

With classic car day and the bike ride no longer occurring, the post is now one of our key fundraising activities, so we hope everyone in the area will use the service this year.

It's a win-win for everyone... at just 25p a card, we're 50p cheaper than a second class stamp nowadays!

The boxes are now in Sainsburys (by the tree in the foyer), Co-op (by the tills), Gables, Deers Hut and Scout & Guide HQ, with last collection on Saturday 16th at noon.

Just drop your cards in the box with the cash and we'll stamp them, or you can buy stamps to stick on yourselves via Gables.

Thank you everyone!

Hello! Can you deliver to Milland or is that too far? Many thanks for your great service:)

Just a reminder to everyone that our last collection is NOON on SATURDAY. So, if you haven't already done so, time to get writing :-)

Thank you to everyone who has already posted their cards - we really appreciate your support!

Thank you to everyone who used the Scout Post service this year. We really appreciate your support. We have successfully delivered over 1200 cards this year now, raising £300 for the group in the process (which will go towards new equipment).

As always, there were some cryptic challenges for us (non-existent numbers and such like), but we've managed to work most of them out! One we haven't yet solved... does anyone know what number Mr & Mrs Langford (we think that's the spelling, it's not clear) live at in Collyers Crescent? No number was given.

Sorry, one other card still to find the correct home for, due to wrong address given. Does anyone have information?

Mr and Mrs M Poke... likely Tower Road or Tower Close area.

Thank you. Merry Christmas!
