Anchor liphook - Anne (3rd Dec 2023 - 18:57:07) Had a bad meal in the anchor today , my husbands was cold burger chips cold and rock hard , I had flat fish cold and cold chips , shame went in few weeks ago and had lovely meal ,only one member of staff around so just left

So you didn’t just leave, you obviously sat down, ordered a meal, ate your meal then left. Seems like you are just stirring it up!

If you have an issue with a business, it would be far more courteous to discuss it directly with them so that they are both aware of the issue and can do something about it.

Re: Anchor liphook - Penny Williamson (4th Dec 2023 - 16:07:09) Anne I am not clear from your post whether you left and did not eat your meal or whether you ate the albeit cold meal and then left. Did you at any point speak to the (I know you say there was only one) member of staff? This was not made clear in your post. If I had experienced what you describe I would have spoken to the member of staff and explained the problem before I continued to eat (having tasted the cold chips) because actually the meal sounded uneatable. If the matter had been rectified to my satisfaction then I would have eaten the meal, paid for the meal and left. I do not necessarily agree with KM that this forum should not be used for complaining about local businesses but I do think that this forum should only be used if every other avenue has been explored. Most importantly speak to the manager of the business concerned and tell him/her of your concerns. If after that you do not receive a positive and pro-active reaction then I think one is entitled to complain on this forum.

Yep free for customers its a bit mad but if you go inside the building that owns the car park (They own the car park) and pay money for any of their goods like you did, i.e. buy a meal or even just a drink then parking in the car park (which they own) is FREE !!!! Mental !

Re: Anchor liphook - Local (6th Dec 2023 - 08:06:24) As usual wrong again Sam you only have to go in and put your registration no in the machine and you have four hours parking you don’t have to buy anything.
