Christmas Lights
- Peter Rowan (18th Dec 2023 18:50:27)
How sad that someone found it necessary to cut our small and modest Christmas lights along our garden wall , in multiple places, deliberately done with wire cutters, and having to trespass in our garden, so to do.
Simple plain white lights with a gentle fading theme.
Having lived here for 60 years, we have never had such an upsetting experience.
However, we wish the perpetrator and all our neighbours old and those not so new, a Happy Christmas.

Peter, how bizarre. Some people do the strangest things. Sorry to read about your experience, please don't let it taint your Christmas.
On behalf of everyone in Liphook who isn't a Christmas-light-vandal, I wish you a Merry Christmas.

I think the same person may be doing this all over the place as I have been reading about it happening in Grayshott on the Next door website.

Joe
I think you may find this was my wife's original posting.
I think fortunately there have been no other local incidents where we live, we were deliberately targeted.
Our modest lights have been up every year, we just changed the location from a tree to OUR garden wall.
Not visible to very many neighbouring houses.
Merry Christmas to you

Maybe it's time to use 240v outdoor lights, and you will definitely find the culprit!
