 Con-men Warning
Distraction burglars, using a variety of guises, are again targeting vulnerable people accross West Sussex, say police. Two men conned an elderly pensioner out of a valuable table after calling at her home in Heather Way, Hindhead, on Thursday morning and it is suspected they went on to commit a burglary on teh Hog's Back, between Farnham and Guildford a few hours later.
The men called at the woman's house just after 11am and when she opened the door they walked in and started looking around. They saw a table in the lounge and after saying they would give her a good price for it, they took it outside and drove away with it in a red car.
