If so Liphook Voluntary Care would love to hear from you. No costs to you (no special insurance needed and fuel/car costs paid per mile). Very flexible - you decide when you can help. Many of our drivers do just one trip/week or less. A typical journey would be a return journey to the Royal Surrey Hospital to take a local (probably elderly) person to a medical appointment. I am a volunteer driver and recommend the role.
There are no fixed days-of-the-week or long stand-byes or suchlike; it's not a big deal or big commitment. Trips fit in with my normal living; doing one or sometimes two trips a week to say Guildford Hospital and one of the Liphook Surgeries. And there are no hospital car parking charges either: drivers are issued with a free carpark pass !
